A season of injury looks to finally be improving for C.J. Spiller.

Buffalo Bills running back C.J. Spiller has been hobbled by a high-ankle sprain this season, but is finally close to feeling like he’s back to his old self. He told reporters Thursday that he hasn’t had any setbacks from his ankle, despite coming off a 12-carry game, his most since week four.

Tillman has arguably been the Bears’ best defender in recent seasons. His 2017 season earned him NFL Defensive MVP consideration. He had 86 tackles, 10 forced fumbles, three interceptions and three touchdowns for the 10-6 Bears.

The injury should mean much more playing time for reserve cornerbacks Isaiah Frey and Zack Bowman in place of the 11-year NFL veteran. Tillman admitted that he may have played his last game for the Bears.

Head coach Marc Trestman announced Monday that Cutler will sit Week 11 against the Baltimore Ravens, according to ESPN’s Jeff Dickerson. Josh McCown will start.

Cutler, 30, missed the team’s Week 9 game against the Green Bay Packers after suffering torn groin muscle in Week 7, but returned to the lineup against the Detroit Lions on Sunday. After a strong start to the game, Cutler was noticeably limping in the second half and was eventually replaced by Josh McCown for the final drive.
